We are a successful and well-established British manufacturing business with worldwide activities, specializing in the mining and construction equipment sectors.

Main Responsibilities

As a Sales Manager - Mining and Construction, you will be responsible for developing business opportunities, actively prospecting for new clients, and contributing to the growth of existing accounts across Europe by creating a supportive and long-lasting relationship with them.

Key Accountabilities

  • Maintain and develop key relationships with clients and distributors across your allocated territory
  • Develop new business through prospection
  • Successfully deal with clients at C-level on a daily basis
  • Cover key account management for existing portfolios
  • Work in a fast-paced, target-driven, and international environment
  • Follow up on clients' projects on a daily basis
  • Visit clients on site and understand their needs

Requirements

We are looking for a driven and hands-on individual with a mechanical or technical background, who is experienced in working in the machinery industry. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • A driven and hands-on attitude
  • Liaising with clients to offer solutions to operational challenges
  • Happy to travel on a regular basis (one week every 3 weeks on average)
