Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in the Water Industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading multiple design-based projects, managing risks and issues, and ensuring timely delivery to agreed parameters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective leadership to ensure timely delivery of multiple design-based projects.
- Manage risks and issues for designated design projects.
- Lead weekly design progress meetings and document outputs for client updates.
- Contract management duties from contract signature through to invoicing.
- Ensure IMS compliance for assigned projects.
- Manage key client projects, coordinate technical resources, and develop scope requirements.
- Develop internal programmes for project delivery and reporting progress to clients and internally.
- Provide guidance and support to Engineers/Assistant Project Managers and Technical Directors.
Requirements:
We are looking for a candidate with a strong commercial background and some understanding of design. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Water Industry or wider utilities, APMP/AMP PMQ or PRINCE 2 certification, and contract management of design schemes. A background in design management within construction or project management on design projects is also essential.
