We are seeking a seasoned Highway Maintenance Operations Manager to lead our team at CraigTech Solutions, a leading recruitment specialist for the roads and highways sector.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of highway inspections and asset teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality maintenance services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the activities of the highway inspections and asset teams to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Develop and implement cyclical and winter maintenance programmes to ensure the safety and integrity of our clients' highway assets.
  • Collaborate with sub-contractors to deliver road surfacing, barrier replacement, pothole repair, road marking, and other schemes within the highway maintenance portfolio.
  • Work closely with our commercial manager to control maintenance costs and optimize resource allocation.
  • Contribute to the development of our clients' highway maintenance strategies and policies, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing highway maintenance operations, with a strong background in asset management and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, sub-contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
