Residential Security Specialist

As a Residential Security Assistant at Sodexo, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents within our Approved Premises. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading provider of Justice Services, utilizing your knowledge and skills to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise residents in accordance with policy and practice, ensuring their well-being and safety at all times.
- Staff and supervise the Approved Premises during designated shifts, responding to any incidents or breaches of protocol.
- Enforce Approved Premises rules, manage conflicts, and maintain a pro-social environment.
- Liaise with key workers, managers, and other stakeholders to share information and address resident concerns.
- Process information, maintain records, and input data into our database system.
- Contribute to the work with substance misusers, adhering to relevant policies and protocols.
- Monitor and record resident movements, enforcing curfews and wellbeing checks.
- Maintain a healthy, safe, and productive work environment, reporting any maintenance or security issues.
- Conduct regular checks, including CCTV monitoring, fire alarm tests, and room searches.
- Support the arrangement and delivery of purposeful activities for residents.
Essential Requirements
- Good understanding of good Health and Safety practice.
- Good understanding of anti-discriminatory practice.
- First Aid trained.
- Good English oral and written, administration, and IT communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively.
