Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Skills Trainer to join our team at Centrica plc. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical training to our engineers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver comprehensive technical training programs for engineers, covering various engineering disciplines.
  • Manage and coordinate training groups, ensuring effective learning journeys and timely skills attainment.
  • Monitor and report on training performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Administer and manage all aspects of engineer training, assessment, and internal quality assurance.
  • Lead by example, promoting a culture of safety and excellence within the workplace.
  • Act as an ambassador for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, fostering an environment that encourages diversity and promotes equal opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, legislation, and best practices, ensuring compliance and technical expertise.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of training solutions.
Requirements
  • Hold a Core ACS +4 certification.
  • Strong technical knowledge and expertise in engineering disciplines.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
