About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and flexible individual to develop their leadership skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care to young people aged 13-18 with complex mental health needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the nursing care provided on the unit, supporting and developing junior staff, and working closely with other disciplines as part of the Multi-Disciplinary Team. They will also participate in robust Clinical and Managerial Supervision and Reflective Practice.
We are looking for someone who demonstrates leadership and team working skills, has experience in CYPMH, and can provide evidence-based care to young people and their families. The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to deliver high-quality care and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- To work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide high-level care and support to young people between the ages of 13 and 17.
- To act as keyworker for a small number of young people and work with them to develop risk management plans, care plans, and positive behaviour support (PBS) plans.
- To carry out medication rounds and ensure that NG feeding is facilitated as per care plans.
We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:
- RMN or RNLD qualification.
- A strong desire to deliver high-quality evidence-based care to young people and their families.
- Experience in CYPMH.
- Demonstrates leadership and team working skills.

Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this role is £40,449 - £54,655 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits including 27-33 days annual leave, flexible working, and opportunities for career development and training.
