Leader Recruitment Group is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Professional to join our team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a woman with dissociative identity disorder, providing support to help her achieve independence in the community and at home. With a competitive salary of £15-£16 per hour, this role offers a rewarding and fulfilling experience for the right individual.

Salary: £15-£16 per hour (PAYE or Umbrella Scheme)

Location: York

Job Type: Full-time, flexible hours to be confirmed

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and caring individual to make a real difference in someone's life. As a Mental Health Support Professional, you will provide support to a client with dissociative identity disorder, helping her achieve independence in the community and at home.

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • 6 months UK experience working as a Care and Support Worker
  • Enthusiastic outgoing personality to connect with the client and create a positive atmosphere
  • Compassionate patient nature with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to complete physical aspects of the role such as moving and handling
  • Must be a driver with access to own vehicle
  • Valid UK driving licence with business insurance to support the client in the community when needed
  • Liking animals as the client lives on a farm and carers will be supporting her there when required
  • Ability to attend Mandatory trainings in Leeds
