Job Opportunity

We are recruiting for a highly skilled Mental Health Services Professional to join our team in York.

This is a 12-month fixed-term/secondment opportunity that requires candidates to have professional registration as a Child, Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist.

The ideal candidate will be trained in evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, or SFP, or be trained as a Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP). Experience of working clinically with children and young people with mental health and neurodevelopmental needs is essential.

About the Role
  • Deliver high-quality care to young people and their families
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve shared goals
Requirements
  • Post-graduate qualification in a relevant area within an agreed timescale
  • 18 months post-qualifying experience, including sign-off of appropriate preceptorship or competency framework
  • Certificate in teaching and assessing in clinical practice, as applicable to own profession
  • Recognised qualification in a specific model of therapy, e.g., family therapy, CBT, etc.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately £38,000 per year, based on experience.
