Job Overview

The South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Emergency Response Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have recent professional experience, triage experience, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:
• Providing high-quality patient care and responding to emergency calls
• Working with a diverse range of patients, including those experiencing mental health crises or medical emergencies
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
• Participating in regular training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
• Adhering to clinical governance and audit practices

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
• Registered General Nurse (RN1, RNA) or equivalent qualification
• Valid registration with the NMC or HCPC
• Recent professional experience (at least 3 years minimum post-registration)
• Triage experience and excellent communication skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Computer literacy and ability to learn new skills
• Willingness to commit to full-time training for 10 weeks and ongoing professional development

Salary

The salary for this role is approximately £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
