Job Summary

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in applying a variety of casts, including gypsona, lightweight synthetic, and soft cast. They will be proficient in using a Plaster saw for safe cast removal and possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to lead by example as a professional role model to junior staff.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic outpatients department, providing specialist bracing and casting services for patients with orthopaedic conditions and fractures. The successful candidate will work closely with theatre teams to provide casting services, maintaining plaster room safety standards and monitoring casting product levels.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain plaster room safety standards.
  • Monitor and maintain adequate casting product levels.
  • Provide casting services to theatres and wards as required.
