About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Support Worker to join our team in a specialist supported housing project for homeless women in the Greater Manchester area.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in social care and experience working with women with complex needs. They will be able to provide one-to-one support and facilitate group activities to promote social inclusion and empowerment.

Responsibilities

The Support Worker will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out initial assessments and developing personalized plans for clients
  • Providing one-to-one support and facilitating group activities to promote social inclusion and empowerment
  • Contributing to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the service meets the needs of our clients
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant qualification in social care or a related field
  • Experience working with vulnerable adults and women with complex needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £15,500 - 17,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits including training and development opportunities, a contributory pension scheme, and generous annual leave entitlement.
