We are recruiting for a Floating Support Worker to join a team in Manchester City Council.

The role holder will have experience of support work and move on support work. Working with homeless applicants, the worker will assess the needs of homeless applicants and match the cases to an appropriate move on scheme.

Candidates will ideally have experience within homelessness. They will work with Homeless Families and have a case load of 20-25.

The support workers will work with the Family for 3 months, deeming them as high or low risk. The family will then be passed onto the Support Workers who will work with them for the full tenancy length. The support workers will have a case load of 40 families.

This is a hybrid role and candidates are expected to be office based 2x per week with 1 Duty shift per fortnight.
