Job Title: Pre-Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Pre-Operations Manager to join our team at Westinghouse Electric Company LLC. in the United Kingdom.

About the Role:

The Pre-Operations Manager will be responsible for leading the Westinghouse Pre-Operations (Pre-Ops) capability, supporting business development through input to tenders, producing and managing a Pre-Ops Case Study library, recruitment to support projects and future work demands, and mentoring Pre-Ops Team Members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor project timelines and identify potential delays, taking corrective actions to keep the project on schedule.
  • Monitor Pre-Ops progress, reporting any new milestone achievements or project delays to the customer.
  • Deliver the Pre-Ops work scope to an agreed strategy and plan in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Ensure O&M requirements are adequately considered in Project Processes (Design, HAZOP, Risk, Contract, Schedule, and Estimate).
Requirements:
  • Managing multi-discipline teams in a highly regulated environment.
  • Managing Client and Stakeholders in a complex project and/or operating environment.
  • Plant operations, plant maintenance/engineering, or commissioning experience.
  • Interpreting technical and Safety Case information.
  • Proficiency in IT packages Word, Visio, Excel, and Adobe.
