Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pre-Operations Manager to join our team at Westinghouse Electric Company LLC. This role will be responsible for supporting business development and specific project delivery.

About the Role:

The Pre-Operations Manager will play a crucial role in defining the Operability and Maintainability (O&M) scope, schedule, cost, and arrangements required for tenders. They will also be responsible for producing and managing a Pre-Ops Case Study library, recruiting team members to support projects, and mentoring the Pre-Ops team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Input to tenders by defining O&M requirements
  • Producing and managing a Pre-Ops Case Study library
  • Recruitment to support projects and future work demands
  • Mentoring Pre-Ops Team Members
  • Supporting specific project delivery through input of O&M requirements into Project Processes
  • Definition and implementation of O&M arrangements required at project completion/active start
  • Confirming achievement of required O&M criteria for taking plant into active commissioning

Requirements:

  • Ability to lead a growing team and demonstrate individual drive
  • Ability to work across multiple projects at the same time
  • Ability to foster an empowered team environment
  • Experience managing multi-discipline teams in a highly regulated environment
  • Experience managing Client and Stakeholders in a complex project and/or operating environment
  • Plant operations, plant maintenance/engineering, or commissioning experience
  • Interpreting technical and Safety Case information
  • Use of IT packages Word, Visio, Excel, Adobe
