RJL Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our esteemed client's team in Yorkshire. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to take the next step in their culinary career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen and ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control.
  • Lead a team of junior chefs and provide guidance and support to ensure excellent service standards.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
  • Contribute to menu planning, development, and implementation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
