Job Opportunity: Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Compass Group UK. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of high-quality food to our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu concepts that meet the needs of our clients and customers.
  • Food Quality Control: Ensure that all food prepared and served meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the management of kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet our culinary needs.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Ensure that all food handling and preparation procedures meet the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Client and Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to our clients and customers, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.

Requirements:

  • Culinary Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a chef or in a related culinary role.
  • Culinary Education: A degree or diploma in culinary arts or a related field.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with experience in supervising and mentoring a team.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene Certification: A valid food safety and hygiene certification.
  • Flexibility: A flexible approach to working, with the ability to work varied shifts and meet the needs of our clients and customers.
