Job Title: Human Resources Officer

Our client, a leading provider of HR Services and Solutions, is seeking a skilled and experienced Human Resources Officer to join their team. As a key member of the HR department, you will be responsible for providing support on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment Administration: Assist in the recruitment process, including drafting job descriptions, advertising roles, shortlisting candidates, organizing interviews, and issuing offers.
  • HR Administration: Manage HR administration tasks, including maintaining personnel files, updating the employee handbook, and implementing improvements to current HR processes and policies.
  • Employee Relations: Provide advice and support on employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary procedures, and employee engagement.
  • Visa Compliance: Ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations, including identifying and verifying immigration status, and providing advice on any restrictions to work.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Liaise with payroll to ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries and benefits, and assist with the administration of employee benefits.
Requirements:
  • Education: Educated to graduate level or working towards a CIPD qualification.
  • Experience: Proven track record in a similar role, with experience of working in an educational environment and knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Skills: Excellent IT, administration, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to take minutes at meetings.
