About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and caring Senior Care Assistant to join our team at The Hamptons Care Centre in Lytham, St Annes. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing leadership to the care team and ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager in providing leadership to the care team
  • Manage and allocate duties to the care team, ensuring a quality delivery of care
  • Promote the highest standard of person-centred clinical nursing care to residents
  • Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults
  • Manage the delivery of residents' personalised care according to their agreed plan of care
Requirements
  • Experience working with older people
  • NVQ Level 2 in Social Care or equivalent
  • NVQ Level 3 in Social Care or equivalent/achieved within the first 12 months of employment
  • Evidence of the ability to contribute to the assessment, planning, and evaluation of care needs
