We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our Extra Care service in Lytham St Annes. As a Care Assistant, you will be supporting residents with varying needs to live as independently as possible, with personalised care and support plans in place.

Every client's needs are different. You may assist with a bit of housework, help with getting up in the morning, or provide a listening ear. A hand with medication or getting washed and dressed. But more than this, our carers become friends, providing human company, encouragement and maybe a laugh or two, often when life has become a bit tough.

Shift patterns:

Block shifts available: 7am - 2:30pm, 7am - 4:30pm, 4:30pm - 9:30pm and 9:30pm - 7:30am.

Key requirements for this role:

  • A passion for helping others, previous caring experience is desirable but not essential.
  • You should be flexible to work various shifts, including alternate weekends
  • This role is subject to a DBS/PVG check
