About the Job
The Liaison and Diversion Service is commissioned nationally by NHS England, providing an All vulnerability service which offers screening and assessment services to anyone above the age of criminal responsibility. The successful applicant will work in police custody suites and courts, providing mental health assessments and advice to individuals with potential mental health or learning disability needs.
This role requires a professional qualification at degree level in mental health nursing, learning disability nursing, occupational therapy, or social work. Experience in community settings and training in risk assessment and management are essential. A driving licence and access to a car during working hours are also required.
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum
