Role Overview:
We are looking for passionate and committed Foundation Stage Support Specialists to join our vibrant primary school community. In this vital position, you will work alongside educators and support staff to deliver individualized assistance to children with varying learning requirements, fostering their academic, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Morning Assistance: Deliver personalized support to students with SEMH challenges, including ADHD and self-harming behaviors.
  • Afternoon Adaptability: Provide essential support across Key Stages 1 and 2, adjusting to the needs of different age groups.
  • Inclusive Environment: Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all learners.
  • Collaborative Support: Partner with teachers and SENCO to execute tailored support strategies.
  • Building Relationships: Develop strong connections with students to promote their overall growth.

Foundation Stage Support Specialist Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Nursery or Foundation Stage Support Specialist is preferred.
  • Proactive Approach: Demonstrated ability to be proactive and resilient in maintaining standards and supporting students effectively.
  • Adaptability: Capacity to address individual needs and provide necessary assistance.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEN, safeguarding, and child protection protocols.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively both in teams and independently.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
