Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the talented regional team across Commercial & procurement in Scotland.
  • Deliver work with existing and new clients and be part of our national commercial and procurement leadership team.
  • Manage a growing team in Scotland based out of our Edinburgh and Glasgow offices.
  • Collaborate with key strategic partners, clients, and colleagues across AtkinsRéalis globally.

Your Purpose

  • Work with the Commercial and Procurement Leadership team to help define our strategy and future aspirations for Scotland and across the UK.
  • Define and lead on the regional strategy for the discipline.
  • Direct the sub-sector teams on the implementation of the strategy and work with the operational business on delivery.
  • Lead on team engagement, care, and management.
  • Support the identification of target clients and the development of an engagement plan.
  • Innovation - constantly review how to do things better and more efficiently.
  • Recruitment - identify the key resources we need, where we need them, and why. Lead the recruitment process to grow our business.
  • Work closely with the operational business on direction and strategy.
  • Review and assess the performance of our people and support the operational business in driving efficiency across the region.

What You Can Bring

  • Strong and proven infrastructure experience, notably for Defence, Water, Energy, Local Transport, Rail, or Highways projects.
  • Proven track record in effective management of diverse teams either at discipline level, or on major/complex commissions or projects, for major clients, including maximizing performance and confidently dealing with performance-related issues developing and growing people to promote the next generation of leaders.
