An innovative, not-for-profit organisation making a significant impact within the energy sector is looking for a New Business Manager. As a key member of their team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer records, monitoring performance, and providing strategic insights that contribute to business development.
Job Description
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and developing relationships with key stakeholders within the NHS, including collaborating with procurement teams.
- Proactively approaching new business leads, managing contract negotiations, onboarding accounts, managing performance, and renewals.
- Developing and maintaining customer records, ensuring all client agreements are up-to-date and beneficial for both parties.
- Monitoring progress on performance to drive improvement and track success.
- Staying informed about industry trends, NHS policies, and competitor activities to provide strategic insights.
- Representing the company at industry events, conferences, and seminars.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of services and products.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive experience selling into the NHS, with a solid understanding of the UK healthcare landscape.
- A personal interest in sustainability and the environment.
- A network of contacts within healthcare across primary and secondary care.
- Previous experience within a field-based role, working to and surpassing targets and deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to travel around the UK as required, approximately 50% of the time.
Benefits
This exciting opportunity offers a salary of £45,000 - £50,000, flexible working hours, 28 days holiday + bank holidays, a contributory pension scheme, and life assurance.
