SEND Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Team Educate Ltd. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide tailored support for students with a variety of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEND.
• Assist in the delivery of personalised learning plans, ensuring each child's needs are met.
• Encourage independence and confidence in students, helping them to achieve their learning goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to monitor progress and adapt support strategies.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment where all students feel valued.
Requirements:
• Empathy – the ability to build strong, trusting relationships with students and staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive information.
