About the Role


This challenging yet rewarding role involves supporting pupils to develop positive self-regulation skills and improve their engagement with core curriculum subjects. You will be working in mainstream schools with specialist units attached or in special schools, where your expertise and passion for helping children with additional needs will shine through.



Salary Information


The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience. This competitive salary reflects the importance we place on finding the right candidate for this vital position.



Job Description


As a learning support assistant, you will play a crucial part in supporting teachers and other education professionals to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences. Your key responsibilities will include:



  • Supporting pupils with SEND to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with pupils, parents, and school staff
  • Contributing to the planning and delivery of individualized learning programs
  • Assisting with the preparation and distribution of learning materials
