Fire Safety Compliance Specialist

About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Fire Door Inspector/Surveyor to cover the East Anglia area. The ideal candidate will be based in Cambridge or Suffolk to provide efficient access to client sites.
Your Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive inspections of fire doors and frames in commercial and residential buildings, ensuring strict compliance with fire safety regulations and standards.
- Document findings and prepare detailed inspection reports, outlining required repairs or adjustments.
- Collaborate with building managers, property owners, and other stakeholders to communicate results and provide actionable recommendations.
- Stay informed on the latest fire door safety codes and regulations to deliver top-quality service.
- FIDS Diploma/Certificate – essential qualification for fire door inspection.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings.
- A highly self-motivated approach, thriving when working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills to assess complex fire safety risks accurately.
- High-level computer literacy, including project management tools.
