Interim SEN Leadership Position

Panoramic Associates is currently partnering with a reputable mainstream primary school seeking an experienced Interim SENCo. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). This 12-month role offers the opportunity to work closely with teachers, manage EHCPs and interventions within the classroom, and contribute to the development of SEND strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the daily operations of the SEN department
- Liaising with teachers to develop targeted interventions and support plans
- Overseeing the administration of EHCPs and monitoring progress
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong experience as an SENCo in a mainstream primary setting
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and pupils
