Early Intervention Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Intervention Support Worker to join our team in Widnes, Cheshire. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and make a real difference in the lives of children and young people. The estimated salary for this role is £38,000 - £50,000 per annum.

About the Role:

As an Early Intervention Support Worker, you will work closely with children, young people, and their families to provide targeted support and interventions to promote healthy development and well-being. You will coordinate care plans, assess and manage risk, and develop strategies to address complex needs.

You will also lead and supervise unqualified staff, ensuring high standards of care are delivered to service users. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child development, experience working in community settings, and excellent communication skills. A first-level registered general nurse qualification and current NMC registration are essential. Leadership qualifications and a degree-level education are also desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures, sharing best practices and innovations within the team.
Requirements:
  • First-level registered general nurse qualification.
  • Current NMC registration.
  • Leadership qualifications and a degree-level education (desired).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
