The ideal candidate will possess a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or be willing to achieve it within the required timeframe. You will be motivated by the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of young people, creating a safe space and building resilience.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to deliver high-quality care and services. A flexible approach to working hours, including sleep-ins and shift work, is essential for this role.

This exciting opportunity comes with an estimated salary of £25,000 - £27,000 per annum, depending on experience. BARNARDO'S offers a comprehensive benefits package, including annual leave, sick pay, and pension scheme.

  • Job Requirements:
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification.
  • Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of safeguarding and protection of vulnerable children and young people.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including sleep-ins and shift work.
  • Relevant experience working with children and young people is desirable but not essential.
