About the Apprenticeship

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support teachers and contribute to the educational and social development of pupils in and out of the classroom.
  • Work closely with teachers to develop and implement lesson plans and activities.
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of classroom resources and materials.
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with additional learning needs.
  • Contribute to the creation of displays and resources to enhance the learning environment.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils, teachers, and other staff members.

Requirements

  • Minimum A*-C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with pupils, teachers, and other staff members.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude.

Training and Development

  • Opportunity to gain a Level 2/3 Supporting, Teaching and Learning qualification.
  • Training and support to develop skills and knowledge in teaching and learning.
