Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including a reduced working week from 37 hours and up to 30 minutes extra per week for a temporary period until service rosters change.

Job Responsibilities

This exciting opportunity involves pioneering clinical pharmacy services within the frailty front-door portfolio expansion at Western General Hospital. As co-lead of the Medicine of the Elderly team, you will work with a multidisciplinary team to optimise patients' medicines and improve hospital stays through effective discharge planning. You will also participate in the wider clinical pharmacy services provision to the medical admissions unit and medicine of elderly service, focusing on frail elderly patients.

Requirements
  • Master of Pharmacy Degree or equivalent
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Clinical Diploma or Masters in Clinical Pharmacy (or demonstrate active participation in a community of practice/peer network and complete the RPS learning needs analysis tool)
