Job Summary:

NHS Education for Scotland is seeking a Principal Lead to join their Pharmacy team. The successful candidate will have significant experience as an educator and be responsible for the delivery of the Foundation Training Year Programme to Trainee Pharmacists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of the Foundation Training Year Programme
  • Work closely with the Associate Postgraduate Pharmacy Deans and other team members
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Scotland to deliver national training initiatives
  • Develop and implement high-quality learning and education programs

Requirements:

  • Pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Significant experience as a pharmacist practicing in any sector
  • Experience of supervising Trainees/Learners and/or wider leadership experience
  • High-level communication and interpersonal skills
