Learning Disability Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Learning Disability Nurse to join our team at Priory Hospital Hayes Grove. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients with learning disabilities, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient progress.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care, addressing the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients.
- Supervise junior staff and students, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Registered Nurse with active NMC PIN and a minimum of 6 months post-qualifying experience.
- Relevant clinical experience in learning disability nursing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to ensure good practice.
