About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Learning Disability Nurse to join our team at Priory Hospital Hayes Grove. As a Learning Disability Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, safe nursing care to our patients, ensuring consistently high standards of practice and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating the care given by colleagues and leading the delivery of a comprehensive patient/service user nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of person-centered care in a collaborative way.
- Maintaining the patients/service users' rights, supervising junior staff and students, working collaboratively with the MDT, and maintaining a safe and therapeutic working environment.
- Accurately recording patient/service user information and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements
- Registered nurse with an active NMC PIN and a minimum of 6 months post-qualifying experience.
- Relevant clinical experience and a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement, and quality.
- Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to ensure good practice.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
