Removals Operations Manager

Are you a seasoned professional looking for a new challenge in a thriving and rapidly expanding business? Our client, a market leader in commercial relocation, has an exciting opportunity for a Removals Operations Manager to join their team.

As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient day-to-day operations of the business, aligning with company procedures. Your ability to understand and proactively respond to client needs is paramount, reflecting our commitment to exceptional customer service and responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the solution design process to optimize outcomes in savings, efficiency, and risk mitigation.
  2. Manage team workloads to achieve goals and deadlines.
  3. Provide analytical guidance within the management team.
  4. Collaborate closely with the rest of the Removals Operations department to foster mutual support.
  5. Function as a 'Number 2' and position yourself as the natural successor to the Branch Manager.
  6. Oversee training, recruitment, onboarding, and staff retention.

About You:

Possess experience in large volume, large-scale removals operations, with essential expertise in commercial removals and diary management.

Hold a Transport Managers CPC (Desirable, with training provided if needed).

Essential B2B experience.

Maintain a white-glove, customer-driven mentality.

Experience working at a management level in a similar Removals Operations role.

Ability to liaise seamlessly from the shop floor to Board level.

Exceptional problem-solving skills, capable of identifying and managing complex or sensitive problems with coordinated responses.
