As a Chief Systems Architect at BAE Systems, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our systems engineering approach. With our dynamic and fast-paced programme experiencing substantial growth, particularly within the SSN AUKUS programme and the Whole Boat Systems Engineering team, this high-profile role offers ample room for professional development and impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with the Ministry of Defence to translate their needs into a well-defined requirements set, engaging with key stakeholders such as the Office of the Chief Engineer and engineering delivery teams.
  • Work in partnership with the Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) team to maintain alignment between the requirements set and system models, maximizing the benefits of MBSE for requirements optimization.
Requirements:
  • In-depth knowledge and expertise in Requirements Systems Engineering.
  • A good background in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management with excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Familiarity with DOORS requirements management software is highly desirable.
