Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Systems Planning Architect to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a vital role in shaping the strategy and policy within our Integrated Business Plan (IBP).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting radar system modelling, detailed planning, and cost-benefit analysis to optimise system effectiveness and align with programme goals.
  • Promoting innovative technologies across programmes, shaping strategy and policy within the Integrated Business Plan (IBP).
  • IBM DOORS), and configuration management and a practical understanding of the full product lifecycle, delivering solutions with independence and technical integrity.
  • Strong leadership in large-scale complex system designs, with knowledge of engineering lifecycles and tools.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:
  • A Chartered Engineer status or significant experience to progress towards it, with a bachelors degree in a relevant STEM discipline and proven experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A strong understanding of system design principles, software development methodologies, and agile practices.
