We are seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join our Maritime Services Team as an Industrial Placement System Engineer.

Job Description:

The role involves developing systems engineering skills applicable across the entire engineering lifecycle, from requirement definition to system integration and acceptance. You will work on complex warships and support the Royal Navy with its most advanced attack vessels.

  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve common engineering problems under close technical supervision.
  • Decompose requirements into system and sub-system levels, managing them using tools like IBM DOORS Next.
  • Design systems, often utilizing Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) techniques, to subsystem level using toolsets such as Cameo Magicdraw or Enterprise Architect.

This is an industrial placement opportunity requiring return to university to complete your degree. To be considered, you must be pursuing a 2.2 degree in Physics, Maths, Systems Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
