Role Overview
We are seeking a talented Systems Engineer to join our Maritime Services Team. As a Graduate Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering complex systems for the Royal Navy. Your primary responsibilities will include working on a range of products and services, resolving engineering problems under close technical supervision as part of a system design team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work on a range of products and services, resolving engineering problems under close technical supervision as part of a system design team.
  • Discern and decompose requirements to system and sub-system level using toolsets such as IBM DOORS Next.
  • Undertake system design using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) techniques to subsystem level using approved toolsets like Cameo Magicdraw or Enterprise Architect.
  • Conduct system modelling and simulation activities using toolsets like MATLAB/Simulink and Python.
  • Specify and design external and internal system interfaces.
  • Assist with system integration and testing.
  • Support senior engineers in defining acceptance strategies used to verify requirement compliance at different levels of system design & support production of acceptance evidence.
  • Assist with technical reviews of engineering technical documentation and design.

Requirements

A minimum 2.2 degree in Physics, Maths, Systems Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a similarly aligned engineering degree is required.
