Join Our Team as a Paediatric Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paediatric Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Superior Healthcare. As a Paediatric Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children with complex needs.

About the Role

This is a night shift position, working Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. You will be part of a small team, working closely with the child and our experienced team of nurses and field care supervisors. You will receive full paid training, ongoing specialist training, and detailed support to ensure your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to children with complex needs, including PEG feeding, suctioning, ventilation, epilepsy, and tracheostomy care.
  • Work collaboratively with the child and our team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
What We Offer
  • A competitive hourly rate of £13.31 - £15.97, with the potential for up to £26.62 on bank holidays.
  • Full paid training and ongoing specialist training and refreshers.

Requirements
  • Experience supporting children with complex needs.
  • Ability to work at least two shifts per week.
  • UK driving licence and own vehicle.
  • Already living in the UK, with no sponsorship available.
