About the Role:

As a Children's Complex Care Assistant with City & County Healthcare Group, you will play a vital role in enabling a young lady to live her best life. This individual requires care and support following a Spinal Cord Injury and has a passion for rare plants and all things green. Your responsibility will be to assist her in various activities, including exploring new places and experiences.

We are seeking a kind and compassionate person who is willing to learn and follow instructions. You will receive full nurse-led training to develop your skills in complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, stoma care, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the young lady in her daily activities, including personal care, mobility, and social interactions
Support her in pursuing her interests and passions, such as gardening and exploration
Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care and support

Requirements:

No prior care experience is necessary; we provide comprehensive training and clinical support
You must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
Able to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing situations

Competitive salary of £13 per hour (day) | £11.44 per hour (sleepover rate)
