We are seeking an experienced and dedicated support professional to join our team at Teaching Personnel, working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Secondary Schools across the MK and Bedfordshire area.

About the Role:

This opportunity involves empowering and supporting pupils with a range of needs, including PMLD, complex medical conditions, and autism, to achieve their educational and personal goals. The successful candidate will promote equality, diversity, and the rights of our pupils to be treated with respect and seen as learners.

The ideal candidate will provide high-quality support in all aspects of the role, working collaboratively with teachers and other school staff to develop and implement personalized education plans. A friendly, confident, and calm attitude is essential, as well as good knowledge of Safeguarding and Keeping Children Safe in Education.

The salary for this position is approximately £30,000 - £34,000 per annum, paid weekly. We also offer opportunities for professional development and growth with our highly effective CPD Academy, as well as a dedicated and Experienced Secondary Consultant to manage your experience working with us.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils with varying learning contexts, including classroom, local environment, and community settings.
  • Develop and implement personalized education plans with teachers and other school staff.
  • Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment using positive behavior management strategies.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children or young adults, preferably in a SEN setting.
  • Friendly, confident, and calm attitude.
  • Good knowledge of Safeguarding and Keeping Children Safe in Education.
