School-Based Support Role:

This SEN Support Specialist position involves working with students who require tailored tutoring in Functional Skills (Maths, English, ICT) and GCSE subjects, as well as providing SEMH support to students.

You will be part of a dynamic team providing educational support to students, working closely with parents, carers, and school staff to ensure a consistent and supportive learning environment.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be empathetic, patient, and proactive with a clear passion for helping students reach their potential.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to adapt teaching methods and resources to meet individual learning styles and needs, as well as build students' academic skills, confidence, and emotional resilience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted support to students with SEMH needs.
  • Support students in building their academic skills, confidence, and emotional resilience.
  • Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet individual learning styles and needs.
  • Collaborate with parents, carers, and school staff to ensure a consistent and supportive learning environment.
