SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate professional to join the team of a well-respected school in Bedford. This is an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive educational environment, making a positive impact on students' learning journeys.

About the Role:

This full-time, term-time only contract will allow you to work closely with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them achieve their full potential. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Psychology or related field and a genuine interest in working with children with SEN.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Support students with SEN in a classroom setting
  • Develop strong relationships with students and staff
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and parents
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
What We're Looking For:
  • A degree in Psychology or related field
  • A genuine interest in working with children with SEN
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport
  • Patience, empathy, and proactive attitude
Compensation Package:

The salary for this role is £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive 25 days annual leave and access to a range of benefits, including career development opportunities and competitive pay.
