Accounting Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our Finance Team at JEM Childcare Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all supplied invoices, preparing payments for payment runs, and ensuring Purchase ledgers are up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inputting invoices and expenses accurately and efficiently
- Reviewing aged creditors and debtors, and taking prompt action to resolve any discrepancies

- Providing excellent communication skills to ensure seamless collaboration with colleagues and clients
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations
Requirements:
- Enthusiastic and enjoy working as part of a team
- Confident with Microsoft – particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Good organization and time management skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Can multitask, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
