Job Description

We are seeking a Primary Education Support Worker to join our team in providing high-quality education to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the teaching team in delivering lessons and activities, contributing to lesson planning, and implementing strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting teachers in delivering lessons and activities to students with SEND
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicating effectively with teachers, parents, and other support staff
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

  • A Level 2+ Teaching Assistant Qualification (NVQ/CACHE preferable)
  • An enthusiastic and talented classroom practitioner with excellent knowledge of the Primary curriculum
  • Recent primary school experience within the last 3 years
  • A clear Enhanced Child Workforce on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new DBS
  • Able to provide at least 2 references covering a minimum of 2 years
  • Strong EYFS and SEND knowledge
Salary and Benefits

The hourly rate for this role is £13.00-£16.50, with additional benefits including:
