Orbis Education and Care is seeking an experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team at The Old Vicarage, Cardiff. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs associated with autism.

About the Role

  • Act as shift leader and assist in ensuring service scouring standards are maintained.
  • Participate in the on-call rota and assist in reporting and evidence gathering activities.
  • Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders and participate in assessment, development, and review of support and care plans.
  • Promote and celebrate homes achievements and lead by example as a positive role model.

Requirements

  • Experience in a support environment and QCF level 3 qualified.
  • Knowledge of statutory regulations and ability to understand and adhere to relevant safeguarding.
  • Good awareness of conducting Health and Safety risk assessments and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly rate of £12.50 to £13.75.
  • Full-time position with 40.25 hours per week.
