We are seeking an experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team at The Old Vicarage in Cardiff. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs associated with autism.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day management of the home and helping to improve the lives of the individuals we support. You will act as a positive role model to both staff and our supported individuals.

A Day in the Life of a Senior Support Worker with Orbis Education and Care

  • Act as shift leader
  • Assist in ensuring service scoring standards are maintained
  • Participate in the on-call rota
  • Assist in reporting and evidence gathering activities
  • Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in assessment, development, and review of support and care plans
  • Promote and celebrate homes achievements

Requirements

  • Experience in a support environment
  • QCF level 3 qualified
  • Knowledge of statutory regulations
  • Lead by example and always act as a positive role model
  • Upload company policies and standards
  • Able to understand and adhere to relevant safeguarding
  • Good awareness of conducting Health and Safety risk assessments

Please note: This job role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
