Childcare Professional Wanted in Cardiff

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Childcare Professional to join our team at Twinkle Stars, a Flying Start childcare setting in Cardiff. As a Play Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing engaging and fun play experiences for children aged 0-5 years.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, with a paid hours per week during term time only. The successful candidate will be directly employed by Cardiff Council and will have access to excellent training and development opportunities, including mentorship and supervision.
The ideal candidate will have a qualification in Children's Care, Learning/Play & Development (CCLD minimum Level 3). They will also have a commitment to children's development and ensuring that the children and families feel safe, valued, and respected at all times.
Responsibilities- To plan and deliver engaging and fun play experiences for children aged 0-5 years
- To work collaboratively with other staff members to provide high-quality care and education for children
- To maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
- To contribute to the overall well-being and safety of children and families
We offer a competitive salary of approximately £18,000 per annum, plus excellent training and development opportunities. You will also have access to the Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan Pension Fund, which offers a reputable, secure, and flexible pension plan for peace of mind.
