Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, United Kingdom Long-term Teachers Ltd Full time

A fantastic opportunity is available to work with a special school in the scenic city of Cheltenham, providing specialist education for up to 100 students.

The role involves supporting the teacher in subjects such as maths, literacy, and science, with no planning or marking involved. However, your involvement in preparation for lessons is essential, including setting up activities, printing, or organizing arts and crafts sessions.

Knowledge of SEN, including autism, and Social Emotional and Mental health is vital for this role. You may work with students who have challenging behaviour, and some interventions may occur. The head teacher is looking for a nurturing individual who can show maturity and positivity to the role.

This is a supply position, where you can work flexibly to cover staff absence. There is an opportunity to develop into a permanent position in the school if you can demonstrate your exceptional skills and abilities.

As a member of our team at Long Term Teachers Ltd, you will have the support of a dedicated consultant who will help you understand your experience, skill-set, and ideal role.

We are proud members of the REC and have the highest standard of compliance. Working with us means you will receive the best support and guidance through the clearance process.

You will work with us to find your next role, and we will provide you with frequent updates on your progress.
